Injury Update On New York Jets Safety

Despite their recent lack of form, the New York Jets still have a very good chance to end their 11-year playoff drought in 2022, with two wins and a Patriots loss, and yesterday, Head Coach Robert Saleh announced that the defence could get a massive boost this week.

That would be in the form of LaMarcus Joyner, who has missed the past two weeks due to a hip injury, but now, the team has expressed optimism that he can return to practice this week ahead of a must-win game against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 17.

While Joyner hasn't taken the next step into stardom as a member of the Jets, he has been very solid in 2022, with 55 tackles, 1 fumble recovery, 3 interceptions and 6 passes defended, and pairing him with Jordan Whitehead once again will be a major help for their playoff chances.
