Los Angeles Rams Defensive Tackle Misses Thursday Practice

The Los Angeles Rams have arguably been the NFL's biggest disappointment in 2022, as they failed to back up from their Super Bowl win, with injuries to all of their top stars like Aaron Donald, Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp, allowing other young players to step up and solidify themselves for the future.

Greg Gaines is one of those players benefitting from extra playing time, as he's become a valued member of the defensive line thus far in 2022, but he missed practice on Thursday with a shoulder injury, putting his availability for Week 17 against the LA Chargers in doubt.

Gaines was drafted in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft by LA, and in limited opportunities, he's proven himself to be a solid depth piece, racking up 98 tackles, 6.5 sacks and a fumble recovery, so the Rams will be hoping to have him healthy for the final two games of the 2022 season.
