Miami Dolphins Head Coach Reveals Extent Of QB Injury In Week 16

The Miami Dolphins have been scrutinize extensively in 2022 due to their handling of the first concussion of Tua Tagovailoa, and now, they find themselves under the same microscope, as he appeared to suffer a head injury in the loss to Green Bay in Week 16, following which Tua rejoined the NFL's concussion protocol.

While there's been speculation about whether it was just symptoms or a concussion, today, Head Coach Mike McDaniel confirmed that Tagovailoa did indeed suffer a concussion, and now, it appears that Teddy Bridgewater is in line to make their Week 17 start against New England.

This would be his second major concussion thus far in 2022, so with his future to think about, the Dolphins are in a unique spot in handling Tua, with many analysts calling for them to think about the person over the player, but right now, everything is on the table as they look to deal with another bad concussion for their young QB.
