NFL Week 15: Top 3 Defenders

Another week of the NFL regular season is in the books, and that means it's time to look back and recognize some of the elite performances from a memorable slate of games. Here are the three top defenders from Week 15.

Safety Rayshawn Jenkins, Jacksonville Jaguars

Perhaps no player stuffed the stat sheet on Sunday quite like Jacksonville Jaguars safety Rayshawn Jenkins. The sixth-year safety totalled a ludicrous 18 tackles in a 40-34 win over the Dallas Cowboys, but they were the least of his achievements. He also nabbed a pair of interceptions, including a walk-off 52-yard pick-six in overtime to seal the upset win.

Defensive Lineman J.J. Watt, Arizona Cardinals

Arizona Cardinals defensive lineman J.J. Watt threw it back to the glory years for one incredible game against the Denver Broncos on Sunday. The three-time Defensive Player of the Year was utterly unstoppable, tallying three sacks and three tackles for loss while also deflecting a pass and forcing a fumble. Unfortunately, it was all for naught and too little too late: the Broncos won 24-15, and the Cardinals picked up their 10th loss of the season.

Defensive Lineman DeShawn Williams, Denver Broncos

Watt may have been sensational, but he likely would have been happy to swap places with Denver Broncos defensive lineman DeShawn Williams. The fourth-year defensive tackle notched 2.5 sacks and two tackles for loss in his team's 24-15 win, holding the Cardinals to a mere 240 yards and 13 first downs. It was only the fourth win of the Broncos' season.
