Seahawks Defensive Tackle Suffers Season-Ending Injury In Loss

His season is over.

Seattle Seahawks defensive tackle Bryan Mone suffered a season-ending ACL tear on Thursday night against the San Francisco 49ers.

Carroll said it’s a spiral metacarpal fracture and likened it to what Rashaad Penny suffered as a rookie in 2018. That was in mid-August and he was back by the opener, for reference.

Mone started the game but was quickly forced out after suffering the injury early in the first quarter. He was unable to return and was later carted off to the locker room, quickly being ruled out before halftime.

With Mone set to miss the rest of the season, the Seahawks may be forced to bring in another defensive tackle as their only other one on the active roster is Al Woods, who is also dealing with an Achilles injury.

In 13 games this season, Mone recorded 25 total tackles and one pass defended.
