Seahawks Top Receiver Suffers Broken Finger In Loss

It happened on the final drive of the game.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett broke his index finger during Thursday's 21-13 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

Lockett played the majority of the game and tied the team lead with seven receptions while leading the receivers with 68 yards.

Unfortunately, the thirty-year-old suffered the injury on the team's final drive and will now miss some time.

Head coach Pete Carroll would not give any further details, though he sounded optimistic that Lockett would be able to return for the team's Week 17 game against the New York Jets.

In 14 games this season, Lockett has 78 receptions for 964 yards and eight touchdowns on 108 targets.
