Two Key New England Patriots Miss Wednesday Practice

The New England Patriots are in a strong position to once ahead head back to the playoffs in the AFC, but will need to continue their winning ways to ensure that happens, so missing a key player on each side of the ball certainly isn't the way they wanted to start their week, as they look ahead to Week 16 and a matchup with the red-hot Cincinnati Bengals.

On Wednesday, both Jalen Mills (groin) and DeVante Parker (concussion) were missing from practice, and with just two days before perhaps the most important game of the year, that's not a great sign for a team that need to be healthy in order to face three very tough challenges coming up.

With no genuine superstars on either side of the ball (despite some very good players), the Patriots need all the depth and contributors they can get, so they'll be hoping that both can make recoveries ahead of a tough stretch to end the year.
