Vikings Cornerback Likely To Return From IR In Week 14

Despite all of their injuries and deficiencies on the defensive side of the ball in 2022, the Minnesota Vikings have surged to a 10-2 record and an NFC North divisional crown, and ahead of their potentially playoff clinching matchup against the division rival Detroit Lions, they may be getting a massive boost to their secondary.

Ahead of the big matchup, the Vikings are expected to get starting cornerback Cameron Dantzler back from Injured Reserve, and after giving up plenty of yards against the New York Jets in Week 13, he'll need to be back to his best if they are to make a run in the playoffs in 2022.

In 8 games in 2022, Dantzler has racked up 45 tackles, 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble recovery and 4 passes defended, and while the stats aren't there to represent a Pro Bowl level cornerback, he's been great in 2022, and will be a much needed presence if he rejoins the team ahead of Week 14.
