2022 NFL Awards: Finalists Announced For Defensive Player Of The Year

  • Helped Lead His Team to the Least Amount of Points Allowed This Season with 277.
  • Helped Lead His Team to the NFC West Division Title with a 13-4 Record.
  • 2021 Record: 10-7 (3rd NFC West), 365 Points Allowed (9th in NFL).
  • LB Micah Parsons (Dallas Cowboys)
  • 17 games played: 65 Total Tackles, 13.5 Sacks, 3 Forced Fumbles, 3 Fumble Recoveries, 3 Passes Defended.
  • Helped Lead His Team to a 12-5 Record (2nd NFC East).
  • Helped Lead His Team to a Total of 54 Sacks (3rd in NFL).
  • 2021 Record: 12-5 Record (1st NFC East), 41 Total Team Sacks (13th in NFL).
  • DT Chris Jones (Kansas City Chiefs)
  • 17 games played: 44 Total Tackles, 15.5 Sacks, 2 Forced Fumbles, 1 Fumble Recovery, 4 Passes Defended.
  • Helped Lead His Team to AFC West Division Title with a 14-3 Record (Best Record in AFC).
  • Helped Lead His Team to a Total of 55 Sacks (2nd in NFL).
  • 2021 Record: 12-5 (1st AFC West), 31 Total Team Sacks (29th in NFL).
The winners will be announced at the 12th annual NFL Honors ceremony on Feb. 9, 2023.
