Broncos Targeted New Head Coach Reportedly No Longer Interested In The Job.

He was considered to be going to either the Denver Broncos or the Houston Texans.

Now, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Denver Broncos "received indication" that DeMeco Ryans is no longer interested in their head coaching job.

Ryans was reportedly the top option for the Broncos after they appeared to lose out on Sean Payton.

With the San Francisco 49ers now eliminated from playoff contention, interviews will likely ramp up for Ryans this week, however, it's almost assured that he will go to the Texans now.

Ryans did an excellent job with the 49ers this season, leading his defense to league-leading in the least amount of points allowed (277) and second in total yards allowed (5,110).

He's a genius at his job and any team would be lucky to have him as their head coach. Unfortunately, it won't be the Denver Broncos.
