Cleveland Browns Wide Receiver Continues To Play Through Injury

The Cleveland Browns season has been over for several weeks now, but they've done a good job building for the future, with DeShaun Watson building chemistry in his return from suspension, and one of the biggest keys for that is his top receiver, Amari Cooper, who's proven that he's more than capable of being a No. 1 at the NFL level.

On the season, Cooper has hauled in 76 catches for 1,109 yards and 9 Touchdowns, but over the past few weeks, he's been dealing with a core muscle injury that would have kept most people out for the year, which fellow wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones says speaks to the character and dedication of Cooper.

With plenty of years left in the NFL, no one would have blamed Cooper if he took the rest of the year off to rehab, but he's spent that time building chemistry with the future of this franchise in Watson, and in the long run, there's a good chance it pays off.
