New York Giants Sign Wide Receiver

Joining the New York Giants.

The Giants have signed wide receiver Makai Polk to a reserve/future contract.

Polk signed on with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent last May, though he did not make the team's final roster cuts and was eventually released from the team's practice squad on Sept. 27.

Polk then signed on with the Giants' practice squad, and was elevated for Saturday's divisional-round loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Unfortunately, he did not get into the game at all, but he will now work towards earning a role in the team's offense for next season.

The twenty-one-year-old is a former undrafted free agent out of Mississippi State. In 25 games, split between California and Mississippi State, Polk recorded 141 receptions for 1,524 yards and 12 touchdowns.
