NFL Rumors: Pittsburgh Steelers to Part Ways With QB

The Pittsburgh Steelers are looking to free up some cap space for free agency, and now there are rumblings that they could look to move on from Mitchell Trubisky because of it.

Trubisky was brought in with the expectation of being the Steelers' starting QB in 2022, but things just did not work out for him well. In seven games, he threw four touchdowns, five interceptions, and 1,252 yards. His struggles resulted in him only being their starter for five games, where he had a 2-3 record.

With Kenny Pickett emerging as their number-one QB, we will need to wait and see if the Steelers elect to move on from Trubisky from here. Although he had another down year, there could be some teams in need of a QB who would be willing to take on the former top prospect.
