Seattle Seahawks Place Veteran Wide Receiver On IR

Despite the struggles as of late, the Seattle Seahawks are still a potential playoff team in 2022, and while things still need to go their way, they'll need to handle business in Week 17 against the New York Jets, so the last thing they want to do is be losing weapons for Geno Smith.

Seahawks placed WR Marquise Goodwin on injured reserve due to his wrist/shoulder injury; his season is over.

Tyler Lockett will return from a hand injury for the battle, but unfortunately, the team have placed veteran receiver Marquise Goodwin on Injured Reserve, and while it wasn't one of the best years of his career, he was a solid target for Smith, so he's a player they'll certainly miss over the final two games of the 2022 season.
