Washington Commanders Sign Quarterback

Keeping him around.

The Washington Commanders have signed quarterback Jake Fromm to a reserve/future contract.

Fromm joined Washington's practice squad in mid-October and spent the entire season there.

The twenty-four-year-old made three appearances with the New York Giants in 2021, completing 27-of-60 pass attempts for one touchdown and three interceptions. He hasn't played in the NFL in any form since then.

Fromm is a former fifth-round pick out of Georgia by the Buffalo Bills in the 2020 NFL Draft. He'll look to carve himself out a role for the 2023 season and, with the Commanders' current QB situation, there's certainly a chance for him to do that.
