Arizona Cardinals To Interview Steelers Coach For A Second Time

The Arizona Cardinals seem to be narrowing down their search for the next Head Coach of the franchise, with several interviews coming up this week, and on Sunday, they seemingly set up another with the current Pittsburgh Steelers senior defensive assistant Brian Flores.

#Steelers senior defensive assistant and LBs coach Brian Flores is expected to have a 2nd interview with the #AZCardinals for their HC job on Wednesday, source said. He also will interview with the #Broncos DC job the day before — and is a top candidate for the #Vikings DC job.

Flores has been the Head Coach of the Miami Dolphins in recent years, and it was seen as just a matter of time until he once again made the step up to Defensive Coordinator or Head Coach, and with a talented defence, he'd play a great role in Arizona.

With two other coaches still in the running, it's anyone's guess at this point who their next Head Coach will be, but as for Flores, this is the third job he's in the running for, and it's very likely he's on another staff in 2023.
