Baltimore Ravens Hire New Offensive Coordinator

The Baltimore Ravens have found their new offensive coordinator.

The Ravens have hired Georgia's offensive coordinator Todd Monken as their new offensive coordinator.

Monken beat out several candidates, including Seattle Seahawks QB coach Dave Canales, to take over the Ravens' offense, previously led by Greg Roman for four years.

Monken had also interviewed for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers OC position which, following Tom Brady's retirement, became less appealing.

After leaving the Cleveland Browns in 2019, Monken has won back-to-back titles with the Georgia Bulldogs, an impressive accomplishment.

It remains to be seen if Monken will be coaching a Lamar Jackson led offense, as Jackson is still looking for a fully guaranteed contract similar to the one Deshaun Watson secured last offseason.

Regardless, we'll likely be seeing a different type of offense than the run-heavy one Greg Roman ran during his tenure in Baltimore.
