Despite Interest In Derek Carr, New York Jets Remain In On Green Bay Packers Star

The New York Jets could see their future fate decided in the coming days, as they not only had a good meeting with Derek Carr, but will now wait for the decision from Green Bay Packers star QB Aaron Rodgers following his well publicized darkness retreat.

While the Jets remain interested in Carr, Rodgers is undoubtedly their No. 1 choice, and it's unlikely they bring Carr in without a decision from Aaron, and if he makes a choice to retire, remain in Green Bay or requests a trade, they'll be the first ones in contact with the Packers.

The New York Jets are really interested in Derek Carr. Nothing but positive reviews, per sources. Now they wait for Aaron Rodgers to emerge from the darkness and inform the Packers of his plans. The Jets will be speaking to Green Bay about a trade IF the Packers are willing

Either way, it looks like the Jets are getting a big upgrade this off-season, and if they can add to their talented young roster as well as picking up a veteran Quarterback, this is a team to watch in the AFC East this coming year.
