Houston Texans Interview Vikings Coach For OC Role

The Houston Texans are fresh off hiring DeMeco Ryans as the next Head Coach of this franchise, and with the boost of energy he's given, their first task will be to fill out the staff that will help take the Texans out of a rebuild back into competing for the AFC South.

The first priority seems to be Offensive Coordinator, and on Monday, the team interviewed the Minnesota Vikings Assistant QB Coach Jerrod Johnson for the role, taking the number of candidates up to four thus far.

The 34-year old has been around the NFL coaching ranks in some capacity since 2017, and is seen as a future Coordinator around the league, and whether that happens this cycle or not, he is a name to watch going forward.
