New York Jets Could Potentially Cut Pass Rusher This Off-Season

Under Joe Douglas, the New York Jets have taken a massive step forward, and with their young draft class of 2022, they're a chance for the playoffs this upcoming season, but unfortunately, his first free agency class hasn't panned out as hoped.

The main signing when he took over was pass rusher Carl Lawson, and after suffering an achilles injury before playing a regular season game for the Jets, he returned in 2022, and while he was a solid performer, he hasn't quite lived up to the contract.

While it's not yet expected he gets cut, it's certainly a possibility, as doing so would save the Jets around $15 million, but with so many moves to make, we just have to wait and see what happens for New York this off-season.
