New York Jets Expected To Target A Running Back In Free Agency

The New York Jets took a major step forward in 2022, but fell apart towards the end of the season, and now, they'll look to re-tool and add to this young squad if they want to finally take the next step and compete for the playoffs in the AFC.

One of those breakout stars that gave them such an optimistic outlook on the season was Breece Hall, and with his return in 2023, the team will be looking at a major upgrade offensively, and now, it appears they'll be looking to add a cheap veteran to their running back room.

Michael Carter and Zonovan Knight will both likely be back, but the team is reportedly not going to bring James Robinson, a mid-season acquisition back, so with depth, it will give them a much better chance at finally breaking their long playoff drought this upcoming season.
