New York Jets 'Really Believe' Veteran QB Could Lead Them To A Championship

The New York Jets started 2022 with an absolute bang, and became one of the stories of the NFL with a top-5 defence and plenty of exciting young players, but unfortunately at the end of the day, the play from the Quarterback position just wasn't enough to help them end their 12-year playoff drought.

Now, it's clear that if they are to go from fun, exciting team to playoff contenders, they'll need to fix the position, and this off-season they've been linked to both Aaron Rodgers and Derek Carr, and while A-Rod in New York would be box office, the team has zeroed in on Carr in recent days.

The two sides had a meeting that was reportedly very positive, and now, reports have come out that the team believe he can be the Quarterback to take them deep in the playoffs, and while the weapons may not be as good as he had in Las Vegas, this team possesses a top-5 defence, and could be lethal with him under center.
