NFL Rumors: Chicago Bears Expected to Target WR

JuJu Smith-Schuster is one of the top pending UFA wide receivers set to hit the free-agent market, and rumors are naturally starting to heat up over where he could potentially land. With this, there are now reports that the Chicago Bears are expected to make a run for him once free agency officially begins.

Smith-Schuster had a fairly quiet season this year with the Kansas City Chiefs, as he had three touchdowns, 78 receptions, and 933 receiving yards. However, when noting that he is a former Pro Bowler and has the potential to provide a big boost to a team's offense, it makes sense that the Bears are considering bringing him in.

With the Bears coming off of a disastrous 2022 season, now it is time for them to look to improve their group. Justin Fields needs more weapons to work, and Smith-Schuster would give him a very solid one to work with.
