NFL Rumors: Los Angeles Chargers Could Release Veteran Guard This Off-Season

The Los Angeles Chargers were right on the cusp of a great playoff run this past season, but fell in disappointing fashion to the Jacksonville Jaguars, and now if they are to take the next step, they'll need to clear some cap room to make some big moves this off-season.

There's a few names that have been floated as potential cap casualties, but one that has emerged in recent days is veteran guard Matt Feiler, a move that would save the team over $8M in cap space for 2023, making it a potential move of interest.

Given the production teams can get at the guard position out of the draft, a cheaper option would certainly help them build around Justin Herbert, and given the gap between them and the top of the AFC, they need to be just about perfect this off-season.
