NFL Rumors: New York Giants Star Now Likely To Hit The Market In Free Agency

The New York Giants had a great 2022 season, but if they are to build upon their Wild Card win, they'll need to have an even better off-season, but right now, it's trending in the direction that they could seriously lose some star power from this squad.

While they've got Daniel Jones to take care of as well, it's been reported lately that the team are far apart on numbers for a Saquon Barkley deal, and unless something drastic changes in the coming days, it appears he's ready to hit the open market.

The team is unlikely to go over $12.5 million a season for a running back, and Barkley has been reported as wanting $14 million or more on his next deal, and with the franchise tag likely being saved for Jones, we could see Barkley in a new uniform come 2023.
