Philadelphia Eagles Designate Punter To Return From IR

The Philadelphia Eagles did an impressive job taking down the San Francisco 49ers to be the first team to qualify for Super Bowl LVII, but now comes their biggest test of the year in the form of Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Today, the team got a boost too, as punter Arryn Siposs was officially designated to return from the Injured Reserve, and while the offence has been good enough in recent times, a game as big as the Super Bowl could come down to one simple play for solid field position, and he has shown to be one of the best punters in the NFL in 2022.

It's not a guarantee that Siposs returns for the Super Bowl, but this is the best indicator yet that he can return, and in a game where the fortunes of a team can change on a single play, even a boost like this could help turn the tide for Philadelphia.
