Tampa Bay Buccaneers Rumors: Star WR Linked to Patriots

The 2022 season was not a good one for the New England Patriots, and they are due for major changes because of it. It is clear that they need to improve their offense if they want to be a playoff team in 2023, and they reportedly have Tampa Bay Buccaneers star wide receiver Mike Evans on their radar because of it.

It is not surprising to hear that Evans is a trade target for the Patriots, as he is exactly what they need to become more competitive next season. Over his nine-year career, he has been an immensely consistent threat, and he could be a real difference-maker for a struggling Patriots team. Keep in mind, this is a player who has been to four Pro Bowls and also has a Super Bowl championship on his resume.

Evans appeared in 15 games this past season with Tampa Bay, where he had six touchdowns, 1,1244 receiving yards, and 77 receptions. Although his touchdown totals were lower for his standards, he is still a very effective piece to have, so the Pats should go all-in for him during the offseason.
