Arizona Cardinals Rumors: Frontrunner Emerges in Hopkins Sweepstakes

The Arizona Cardinals have made it known that they are ready to trade star wide receiver D,eAndre Hopkins. Several teams have since been linked to the veteran like the New England Patriots, Pittsburgh Steelers, Dallas Cowboys, and New York Giants, but there now appears to be a frontrunner in the sweepstakes – the Tennessee Titans.

The Titans are looking to make some big additions to their group this offseason after an underwhelming that saw them finish with a 7-10 record. This was far below expectations for the Titans, as they were viewed as the clear AFC South heading into the season but ended up missing the playoffs. Their offensive woes were a primary cause of this, so it makes sense that Hopkins is now one of their primary targets heading into the offseason.

Hopkins appeared in nine games this past season with the Cards, where he had three touchdowns, 64 receptions, and 717 receiving yards. For his standards, it was a bit of a down year for the five-time Pro Bowler, but perhaps a change of scenery to the Titans could help him get things right back on track.
