Washington Commanders Rumors: Linebacker Becoming Free-Agent Target

The Washington Commanders are heading into the 2023 Offseason with the expectation of making changes to their group. One area that they could use a boost at is the linebacker position, and Tremaine Edmunds is reportedly on their radar because of it.

There is no question that Edmunds has the potential to be a solid addition to the Commanders' roster for next season. After all, the 6-foot-5 linebacker is a two-time Pro Bowler, so he certainly can make a major impact while performing at his best. This is what has made him a key contributor to the Buffalo Bills' roster over the last few years, but now he has the opportunity to land his payday as a free agent.

Edmunds appeared in 13 games for the Bills, where he recorded 102 combined tackles, 1.0 sacks, and an interception. Overall, it was another strong year for him, so do not be surprised in the slightest if several other teams besides the Commanders make a major push for him this offseason from here.
