BREAKING: Detroit Lions Sign Former Steelers Talented Cornerback

A talented cornerback off the board.

The Detroit Lions are signing former Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Cameron Sutton to a three-year, $33 million deal.

After missing out on Jaley Ramsey, the Lions came right back and locked up Sutton.

Sutton offers the ability to play either inside or outside in Aaron Glenn's defense. This past season, the 28-year-old recorded 43 total tackles, three interceptions and 15 passes defended over 16 games.

Spotrac estimated that Sutton could make around $7.6 million per season in his next contract, so he's exceeded that by quite a bit.

The cornerback has spent all six seasons of his NFL career with the Steelers, recording 168 total tackles, two sacks, six forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, eight interceptions and 38 passes defended over 84 games.

It's a nice addition by the Lions.
