San Francisco 49ers Sign Superstar Defensive Tackle

The San Francisco 49ers fielded arguably the best defence in the entire NFL this past season, and as free agency begins, it was clear they were still looking to make an upgrade, and less than two hours into it, they've made a massive splash.

The team have now officially signed superstar defensive tackle Javon Hargrave to a four-year deal worth $84 million, and given that they have the reigning Defensive Player of the Year on his outside, this team will be downright brutal to face.

In 2022, Hargrave racked up 60 tackles, 11 sacks, 1 forced fumble, 2 fumble recoveries and 2 passes deflected, and was a key member of the dominant Eagles defence, so adding him to San Francisco is only going to make them more dangerous.
