Cardinals Sign K Prater To A 2-Year Deal

The Arizona Cardinals announced on Wednesday that they have re-signed kicker Matt Prater on a two-year deal.

The deal is reportedly worth $7.5 million with $4 million guaranteed, per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero

Prater, 38, originally joined the Cardinals in March 2021 on a two-year deal. Before arriving in Arizona, the veteran kicker played for the Falcons (one season), Broncos (seven seasons), and Detroit (seven seasons).

The 17-year NFL veteran has played in 30 games for the Cardinals completing 52/62 field goals in total.

The Cardinals also recently signed OL Kelvin Beachum to a two-year deal, and re-acquired RB Corey Clement through the 2023-24 season.
