Commanders Claim CB Dantzler From Vikings Waivers

The Washington Commanders claimed cornerback Cam Dantzler Sr. off of Minnesota's waivers on Monday, the team announced via Twitter.

Washington is looking to reinforce their secondary with the help of Danztler, who was the former third-rounder for the Vikings in 2020. He started in 26 games in his three seasons with Minnesota, but unfortunately missed the second-half of last year after suffering an ankle injury.

In his 26 starts for the Vikings, Danztler tallied 149 tackles, three forced fumbles, and three interceptions

The Commanders made their claim Monday after the Vikings waived Dantzler last Friday.
