Dallas Cowboys Tight End Now Officially Hitting Free Agency

With their collection of weapons around Dak Prescott in 2022, the Dallas Cowboys looked primed and ready for a very deep playoff run, but unfortunately, they once again fell short of the mark, and will now spend the off-season re-tooling this roster as they try to finally take that next step.

One player who's return was up in the air is tight end Dalton Schultz, but now after the team placed the franchise tag on Tony Pollard, he will officially not be returning to the team that he's spent his entire four year NFL career with.

Over the past 3 seasons, Schultz has been one of the most reliable targets in the NFL, hauling in 198 catches for 2000 yards and 17 Touchdowns, and wherever he ends up in free agency will be getting a major weapon that can help a playoff push.
