NFL Rumors: Cleveland Browns QB Open To Contract Restructure

The Cleveland Browns took a major risk last off-season when they traded for star Quarterback DeShaun Watson, handing him one of the richest contracts in league history, and now, just one year later, it looks like that may be changed significantly.

Watson is currently due over $54M for the next four seasons, but according to Browns writer Mary Kay Cabot, Watson has shown that he is open to restructuring his contract, as it would allow them to add quality veterans around the young QB.

Despite all of the issues, Watson is still one of the best Quarterbacks in the NFL, and if the Browns can find some weapons around him to go along with a full off-season, this will be a team to watch in the AFC North come 2023.
