Detroit Lions Re-Sign Running Back

The Detroit Lions have re-signed running back Craig Reynolds for the 2023 season.

The terms of the deal have not been disclosed yet, but Reynolds will continue his valuable role as a backup to D'Andre Swift and Jamaal Williams

Reynolds has played for the Lions for the past two seasons, rushing for a total of 332 yards on 78 carries and catching 16 passes for 168 yards.

In the 2022 season, Reynolds appeared in nine games, recording 102 rushing yards on 23 carries, and catching nine passes for 116 yards.

Although there isn't a clear path for Reynolds to see increased usage, he has proven himself as a reliable option for the Lions, and his return will provide depth to the team's running back position.

The 26-year old is entering his fifth NFL season.
