Detroit Lions Working To Bring Back Young Star In Free Agency

The Detroit Lions were one of the most enjoyable teams to watch in 2022, and while they fell short of the playoffs, they took a major step forward, especially on the offensive side of the ball with Jared Goff, Amon-Ra St. Brown and breakout running back Jamal Williams.

Williams, who came to the Lions in 2021 had a fantastic 2022 campaign, as he recorded a single season Detroit Lions franchise record of 17 rushing Touchdowns, and now as free agency approaches, it appears there's mutual interest in a reunion.

With plenty of teams out there needing a running back, there should be interest in Williams throughout the league, especially given his ability to get into the end zone, but it just makes too much sense for both of these parties to reunite.
