Jacksonville Jaguars To Franchise Tag Star Tight End

Last off-season, the Jacksonville Jaguars were criticized at length for the money handed out to the likes of Christian Kirk, Evan Engram and Zay Jones as free agents, but after a fantastic season that saw them capture the AFC South, those don't look like bad moves at all.

With Kirk and Jones locked in on multi-year deals, their attention turns to pending free agent Evan Engram, who had mutual interest to return, and it's now been confirmed that the Jaguars are expected to place the franchise tag on him.

Engram once again had a fantastic season in 2022, with 73 catches hauled in for 766 yards and 4 Touchdowns, and if they can add pieces around him and Trevor Lawrence, this is a team that could. take another major leap in 2023.
