Giants Have Had 'Productive Conversations' With Star Quarterback

The New York Giants were a fantastic story in 2022, taking a massive step forward under Coach of the Year Brian Daboll and a career season from Daniel Jones, but if they are to replicate that in 2023, they've got plenty of decisions to make this off-season.

The biggest of all those regards the future of the Quarterback position, as Jones is reportedly requesting $45M per season on his next contract, and while it's since been revealed that he likely won't get that number, he clearly wants to return to New York.

On Tuesday, Giants GM Joe Schoen revealed that they have had 'productive conversations' with Jones, with more scheduled in the coming days, and while nothing is expected to be announced in the coming weeks, it's certainly a good sign for an extension.
