Jacksonville Jaguars Franchise Tag Star Tight End

The Jacksonville Jaguars surprised the world during the 2022 NFL season when they not only took a major step forward by winning the AFC South, but went all the way to the divisional round and gave the eventual Super Bowl Champs a run for their money.

Now, this off-season is crucial to keeping that momentum going, and after having Calvin Ridley reinstated earlier today, they've now got another piece from the 2022 season back in the fold, as the team have now officially placed the franchise tag on star tight end Evan Engram.

Jaguars officially placed their franchise tag today on TE Evan Engram, per source. What was expected now is official.

In 2022, Engram saw a great increase in production, racking up 73 catches for 766 yards and 4 Touchdowns, and given the chemistry he built with Trevor Lawrence, it was a no-brainer getting him back in the building.
