Kansas City Chiefs Expected To Release Star Defensive End

The Kansas City Chiefs offence is often the group that gets all of the praise for their success, but in 2022, their defence stood up in a big way, led by Chris Jones and some fantastic rookies, but after putting together such a loaded roster, they've now got to make some key decisions ahead of their 2023 Super Bowl Championship defence. 

One move that people may not have seen coming is now expected in the coming days, as the Chiefs were unable to come to a deal with star defensive end Frank Clark, so it looks like he will be released in order to save the team some cap room going forward.

Clark is officially third all-time in sacks in the NFL postseason, racking up 58.5 of them through his eight year career thus far, and no matter where he ends up, it wouldn't shock anyone if he continued to get better and make more of an impact.
