NFL Rumors: Contract Situation With Star QB In Baltimore Headed Towards Franchise Tag

The contract situation between the Baltimore Ravens and star Quarterback Lamar Jackson has seemingly been coming to a head for a while now, and with free agency set to open next week, there's still no deal in place between the two sides.

At this point, Jackson is looking for a deal with guarantees similar to DeShaun Watson in Cleveland, and it appears the Ravens don't want to give him that, so now, the most likely outcome is four the team to place the franchise tag on him.

This isn't the ideal outcome for either side, so now there's a good chance Jackson finds himself on the trade market, and with all the craziness that's happened in recent off-seasons, this could start yet another wild few months of player movement.
