NFL Rumors: Five NFL Teams Declare They Won't Pursue Star Quarterback

Yesterday was a day jam-packed full of action in the NFL off-season, despite the fact that free agency is still a week away, and perhaps the biggest news of all was the Baltimore Ravens placing the non-exclusive franchise tag on their star Quarterback Lamar Jackson.

This means that teams can now offer sheet the former MVP, and if the Ravens don't match the offer, they'll need to part way with just 2 first-round picks, but surprisingly, the first reaction from the NFL world was for several teams to declare they aren't interested.

Just hours after the announcement, Carolina, Las Vegas, Atlanta, Washington and Miami all declared that they wouldn't be pursuing the former MVP, which is a strange move, so with the New York Jets, Indianapolis Colts and other teams making up the narrowed field now, it will be interesting to see how this plays out.
