NFL Rumors: New York Jets And Star QB Had A Meeting On Monday

The New York Jets are desperately in the market for a veteran, proven Quarterback this off-season, and with their top target seemingly being Aaron Rodgers all along, it appears he's now their only option after Derek Carr signed a four-year contract with the New Orleans Saints.

Recent rumours have mentioned that it could be New York or retirement for the four-time MVP, and now, the first steps towards a deal have commenced, as the Jets and Rodgers had conversations on Monday about a potential deal.

A-Rod has been open to the idea of being the new Quarterback of the New York Jets, and while nothing is imminent, it appears that it's now just a matter of working out a deal, but right now, it looks like the New York Jets could be landing their man.
