NFL Rumors: New York Jets Owner Optimistic Big Trade Will Be Done Soon

The NFL off-season has been as crazy as we've become accustomed to thus far in 2023, but one story that has been looming the whole time is the potential Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets trade, and right now, there's no resolution imminent.

With the NFL Owners Meetings giving both sides another chance to talk, it looks like movement has been made in recent days, and while nothing is expected to come today, Jets owner Woody Johnson has expressed optimism that the deal gets done soon, with a likely move being made before the 2023 NFL Draft.

Reportedly, the holdup in this trade is a 2025 pick the Jets would like in case Rodgers retires after 2023, and it appears that both sides are coming closer together on a deal, so it appears that a deal should be done very soon, as it's in the best interest of both organizations.
