San Francisco 49ers GM Confident They'll Get Deal Done With Star Defender

The San Francisco 49ers were once again an elite defence in 2022, and despite all of their injury issues, they made it all the way to the NFC Championship Game, and if they are to repeat that success going forward, there's some moves that need to be made this off-season.

One of those moves concerns Defensive Player of the Year Nick Bosa, as the team are approaching an extension with him, and this week at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, General Manager John Lynch told reporters that they are confident a deal will get done very soon.

Given the year he put together, and also being just 25-years of age, he should be getting one of the biggest extensions in NFL history for his position, and if the team can do that and make some smart moves, they'll again be a Super Bowl contender.
