Dallas Cowboys Running Back Likely To Be Cut This Off-Season

The Dallas Cowboys are seemingly on the verge of a breakout playoff run, and after another successful regular season, optimism is running high in Dallas about their potential to finally make a Super Bowl run in 2023.

If they are to do that however, they'll need to find some salary cap space this off-season, and while it's been suggested plenty in recent times, the feeling now around the NFL is that Ezekiel Elliott has played his last snaps as a member of the Cowboys.

After signing a lucrative extension following his early breakout in the league, Elliott has come back to league average as a running back, and with no more guaranteed money on his deal, this makes sense for Dallas, and opens them up to potentially go after the game breaking Bijan Robinson in the 2023 NFL Draft.
