Seattle Seahawks Release Tackle

The Seattle Seahawks have made a change to their roster, as they have released Al Woods.

This may come as a bit of a surprise to some, as Woods started in all 14 of his appearances this past season with the Seahawks. On the year, he recorded 2.0 sacks to go along with 39 combined tackles, so overall, it was a pretty solid season for him. Yet, that was not enough for him to stay put, and now he will be looking for a new home because of it.

Woods has 12 seasons of NFL experience under his belt, where he has split time between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Pittsburgh Steelers, Tennessee Titans, Indianapolis Colts, and Seahawks. Over that span, he has played in 155 games and recorded 293 combined tackles to go along with 9.0 sacks. We will now need to wait and see where he ends up going from here, but expect a market to form for his services.
