Tennessee Titans Sign Cornerback

The Tennessee Titans have made an early-morning signing, as they have inked Sean Murphy-Bunting to a one-year, $5 million contract.

The Titans recently hosted Murphy-Bunting, so this signing is one that could have been predicted. Yet, now that it has been finalized, the Titans have improved their depth at the cornerback position as they prepare for next season. 

This signing also marks the end of Murphy-Bunting's four-year tenure as a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In 53 games (36 starts) with the team, the 25-year-old recorded 188 combined tackles, 1.0 sacks, and six interceptions. Now, he will be aiming to build on these career stats as a Titan from here.

Overall, this has the potential to be a solid signing for the Titans, but we will now need to wait and see how much of an impact Murphy-Bunting makes for them from here.
