Texans Sign RB Boone

The Houston Texans have reportedly added depth to their backfield by signing running back Mike Boone on Monday, according to ESPN's Texans reporter DJ Bien-Aime.

Boone, who originally signed to the Vikings as an undrafted free-agent in 2018, inked a two-year contract with the Broncos in March, 2021. He was unfortunately riddled with multiple setbacks during his tenure with Denver and was played in IR due to two ankle injuries last season.

Boone, 27, is seemingly looking for a comeback season moving forward in 2023 in Houston after his partly compromised 2022-23 campaign.

The former University of Cincinnati running back carried the ball 24 times for 102 yards, and zero touchdowns for the Broncos last season in nine total games.
